Prototyping AI and Brain Science Activities at NYSCI!
Teaming up with our partners at the New York Hall of Science, as well as graduate students from the Columbia CUNO and STEM Starters outreach groups, ARNI held its first prototyping activity meeting at the NYSCI. Together, we’ve been working to create fun and interactive hands-on activities and demonstrations that dive into the common principles between artificial and natural intelligence. Our aim is to develop several hands-on, interactive activities for audiences of all ages to reveal the fascinating connections between the human brain and AI. Some of their activities will be presented on the Museum floor as part of our outreach and public engagement partnership with NYSCI, while others will become part of community events at Columbia, including the Saturday Science. Upon testing and refinement, these activities will also be shared with ARNI partner institutions nationwide!
