ARNI seeks highly qualified candidates for Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions, starting in Fall 2023.

Postdocs will conduct research in one or more of our five research thrusts:

• Robust and flexible learning
• Continual learning
• Reasoning about causality and uncertainty
• The neural mechanisms of intelligence
• Language and vision

The ARNI Fellows will be able to catalyze collaborative research with multiple ARNI researchers at any of our collaborating institutions, including Harvard, UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, Yale, Janelia/HHM, Princeton, Tuskegee, and CUNY. The Fellows will be based primarily at Columbia University in the City of New York

Candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Statistics, or related fields (conferred by the time of their start date), with a focus on at least one of ARNI’s five research areas. We encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
